General FAQs

Yes, we welcome visits and our helpful, friendly team are on-hand to show you around at a time that suits you. Get in touch to arrange the most suitable time for you to visit West Park.

No smoking is permitted inside West Park but we do have designated smoking areas outside the buildings.

Yes, we have a number of ground-floor, accessible rooms.

Yes, by prior arrangement you can arrange to leave items in the venue overnight.

Yes, your suppliers are more than welcome to arrange an appointment to visit West Park before your event.

We are happy to accept deliveries the day before your event with prior arrangement. It may not always possible to set up the day before your event if the room is in use, please check availability with your event coordinator.

We have a license until 1am for evening functions.

Yes, high speed Wi-Fi is FREE for all guests.

We accept payment by cash, cheque and all major credit and debit cards.

Yes, we pride ourselves in the menus we offer and are able to cater for all different types of dietary requirements.

Weddings FAQs

We often have late availability wedding packages available. Contact us on 01382 647177 to discuss available dates and special offers.

We have a number of rooms licensed to offer humanist, civil and religious ceremonies. You will need to obtain a license from the relevant body to hold your ceremony at West Park. For information about obtaining the license required, please contact Dundee City Council Registrars on 01382 435222.

Yes, a microphone and sound system are available for you to use if required.

We can offer overnight accommodation during June, July and August. We can help you organise off-site accommodation if you are planning to hold your wedding outside of the summer months.

Yes we have a number of high chairs available at West Park that you can use.

Yes, by special arrangement, pets can be on-site for your ceremony and photographs.

No, we like your wedding to be as unique as you are and welcome your personal ideas to dress the room. We only have limitations on the types of fixings that can be used in the rooms and your wedding coordinator will discuss this with you.

Yes, you are welcome to light candles around the rooms and on the dining tables. You are welcome to have battery operated candles down the aisle.

Yes, we are fully insured.

We take care of obtaining the license for the sale of alcohol. We will require your entertainment (band or disco) to provide us with a copy of their public liability insurance.

We work with a number of suppliers from Dundee who we can recommend to you but you are welcome to use any suppliers you wish.

Due to our close proximity to Dundee Airport, any requests for fireworks need to be authorised by the local authorities. Please speak to your event coordinator to discuss in more detail.

Yes, you are welcome to throw non-bio-degradable confetti outside.

We can provisionally hold a wedding date for 14 days for you.

We offer a number of catering options for your event, however if you have specific catering in mind and would like to organise your own caterer then we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Accommodation FAQs

You can check availability and book a room on our accommodation page. Alternatively, if you would to talk about a group booking or have any special requirements, please call us on 01382 647177.

We provide bed linen and towels.

If you have booked Fully Serviced accommodation a complimentary breakfast is included in your price.

If you have booked Self Catering Accommodation breakfast is not included however you are more than welcome to buy your breakfast in the onsite restaurant.

We often run promotions and discounts for our summer accommodation. Follow us on Facebook or use our contact form to be kept up to date with our special offers.

The restaurant on site is only available to guests for breakfast, however it is available to book for conferences, events or large group bookings. Please speak to a member of our team for further details.

We are located on the Perth Road which offers a wide choice of restaurants and bars.
