Six – 12 months before

• Agree a budget and set up a dedicated bank account for all wedding costs
• Book ceremony time and date with minister or registrar
• Give notice at local register office
• Prepare draft guest list
• Choose your Bridesmaids, Best Man and Ushers
• Book the photographer/videographer
• Book entertainment
• Book wedding transport
• Book florist
• Book hairdresser and make-up artist
• Order wedding dress
• Choose and order Bridesmaids dresses
• Book your wedding night accommodation
• Book Your Hen and Stag Nights at West Park

Five months before

• Finalise guest list
• Order wedding cake
• Order stationery
• Book honeymoon (and travel insurance)

Four to three months before

• Finalise gift list
• Start thinking about favours, table decorations, names and place cards
• Discuss and finalise menus
• Send out invitations to all your guests
• Organise Hen/Stag nights

One to two months before

• Organise rehearsal for wedding ceremony
• Dress fitting and confirm collection date
• Finalise seating plan
• Confirm ceremony details with minister/registrar (including order of service if church wedding)
• Make final checks on all your arrangements (including the venue, band and transport.)

One week to go

• Have a final hair and make-up practice
• Pick up your wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses and suits for the groom and ushers

On the day
