The Sidlaw Suite

Set in the Victorian mansion house gardens, the Sidlaw is a purpose-built conference centre with seating for up to 300 guests.

As well as a horseshoe-shaped auditorium, the conference centre has a wrap-around curved foyer which is perfect for exhibitions, networking events or buffet dining, while a private bar offers the ideal location for a corporate drinks reception.

All conveniently located at ground level, the Sidlaw provides excellent facilities, giving you the flexibility to host whatever kind of event you would like to present to your guests.

Conference facilities

The conference facilities include a large stage and motorised screen, a fixed overhead projector, lectern, sound booth and Bose PA system. The Sidlaw also provides the added luxury of preparation rooms backstage for guests and presenters.

The perfect evening venue

After an all-day conference, the Sidlaw easily transforms into the perfect evening venue. Plush drapes, colourful mood-setting lights and elegantly decorated tables effortlessly replace the conference facilities. The stage area is perfect for a live band or DJ and a solid wood dance floor beckons even the most reluctant dancer to the floor. This sumptuous venue is perfect for formal presentations, dinners or award ceremonies.

Fine dining and outdoor areas

On warm summer evenings the side doors can be opened allowing guests to spill out onto the lawns for pre-dinner drinks. The Sidlaw foyer can become a bustling reception for an evening buffet or the private kitchen can serve an exquisite fine-dining experience.

The surrounding garden with mature trees, shrubs and extensive lawns is also suitable for garden parties.
