Five reasons to stay at West Park this festival season

Typical Double Bedroom at West ParkIt’s festival season! Have you booked your tickets for T in the Park and Rewind Scotland yet? Or does the fear of sleeping in the middle of a field, showering with freezing cold water and sharing the toilets with other festival goers fill you with dread?

Why not concentrate on the music and come and stay with us? Our overnight accommodation at West Park has everything you need to refresh overnight for the day ahead and enjoy some more great music. Still unsure? Here are five reasons to stay with us this festival season:

1.    Location

You’re not far away from two of Scotland’s biggest festivals. Staying at West Park, you’ll be 35 miles from Balado for T in the Park and 24 miles away from Rewind Scotland’s, Scone Palace. Our team are always on hand to help you book transport if you need it to get to and from the festival.

West Park is in the leafy west end of Dundee, on the banks of the River Tay, so why not take some time out to relax with friends and explore this beautiful part of the country when the festival has finished.

2.    Costs

Sometimes paying the extra to camp at a festival can be pricey. You can stay with us for as little as £35 a night; we have discounts for group bookings. With 204 rooms available, you’re sure to be near to each other, no matter how big the group

3.    Comfort

Why spend the night tossing and turning in your tent? You can get a relaxing night sleep with us at West Park. We have a number of twin, single and double rooms to choose from.

4.    Convenience

Whether you’re glamping or sleeping in the car, you can’t avoid those early morning treks to the communal toilets and showers. This is something you don’t have to wake up to if you’re staying with us. All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms so you can freshen up in your own time. Your valuables will be safely locked in your room while you’re at the festival, so there’s no need to worry about leaving anything in your tent.

5.    Refreshments

Long queues at expensive food stalls, or trying to keep your drinks and food cool, can be a real pain when you’re camping. For just an extra £8.50 per night, you can enjoy a hearty Scottish breakfast served in our Victorian mansion house – you’ll need all the energy possible to dance all day and night.

Don’t worry if you’re in a rush to get away in the morning, speak to our staff the night before and we’ll arrange for a grab and go breakfast to be available from reception. This takes the stress (and the cost) away from trying to find food while you’re at the festival.
